VILLOID selects StrongPoint to build world’s largest Pio facility

StrongPoint has entered into an agreement with Norwegian online fashion platform VILLOID to engineer and implement a new automated fulfillment installation utilizing Pio, a warehouse automation solution developed by AutoStore. Valued at approximately NOK 17 million, the automated logistics project is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2027.

Capacity Expansion and Fulfillment Relocation
Founded in Oslo in 2015, VILLOID operates as an online curated fashion platform serving a customer base of 500,000 users and carrying roughly 250 international, Nordic, and proprietary private-label brands.

To support business scaling and increased order volumes, the retailer is relocating its central fulfillment center to a new facility. The upcoming Pio automation installation will double the footprint of the company's prior setup, establishing what is projected to be the largest operational Pio deployment globally upon delivery.

High-Density Goods-to-Person Automation
Pio integrates AutoStore's core cube storage automation technology, combining high-density automated storage with goods-to-person picking workflows. The modular architecture is designed to maximize floor space utilization and optimize picking and packing operations for expanding digital commerce operations.
