Wittenstein News
The WITTENSTEIN group at LogiMAT 2025
At the LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart from March 11 to 13, 2025, WITTENSTEIN will be demonstrating how "Smart drive solutions for AGVs and AMRs” can be implemented in an innovative way.

The focus will be on cyber® iTAS® system 2 – a compact drive system for AGVs with remarkably efficient safety architecture – which gives vehicles a decisive gain in performance, productivity and economy. Frameless servo motors for use as steerable drive units for AGVs as well as digital technologies and applications in close proximity to the drive will be other highlights of the WITTENSTEIN exhibit (Hall 8, Booth 8B04).
cyber® iTAS® system 2 is a compact servo drive system consisting of a safety certified servo drive from the cyber® simco® drive 2 series as well as a compact and heavy-load wheel actuator in the form of the cyber® TAS actuator 2. This differential drive impresses with an end-to-end industrial concept that greatly simplifies vehicle development, design and construction in the long term, not to mention operation and servicing.
Next-level safety architecture: Smart, lean, safe
cyber® iTAS® system 2 also ships with a lean and integration-friendly safety architecture that requires fewer cables and connectors, fewer interfaces, fewer components and modules as well as reduced assembly and documentation effort. The SIL 2 and PL d requirements stipulated by vehicle manufacturers and operators to ensure safe operation of AGVs, AMRs and other mobile platforms are fully met.

LogiMAT – the ideal platform for WITTENSTEIN “solutions that drive motion”
LogiMAT – the International Trade Show for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management – is an annual event and the biggest of its kind in Europe. It is also the number one platform for innovations from all areas of logistics – and the perfect place for WITTENSTEIN to showcase its products and solutions.
The exhibits at the LogiMAT booth will also include various other “solutions that drive motion” from the WITTENSTEIN group:
- Frameless motors for use in steerable drive units for AGVs as well as in in-house development of actuators for AGVs and AMRs
- Small servo drive systems for auxiliary axes
- Digital technologies for detecting anomalies or for condition monitoring for AGVs, AMRs and other mobile platforms
